New Book Published by AHRMM Board Member on Healthcare Supply Chain and CQO
Healthcare Supply Chain at the Intersection of Cost, Quality, and Outcomes
Transforming the healthcare supply chain requires a total paradigm shift—changes in thinking as well as practices to move from volume-driven transactions to strategic value creation.
This book outlines various levels of supply chain performance, providing guidance that hospital and health system executives can use to implement supply chain strategies that reduce total expenses, improve patient care, and better align with value-based reimbursement models to improve overall operations.
Healthcare Supply Chain at the Intersection of Cost, Quality, and Outcomes was developed by Nexera staff to help promote the CQO Movement, an initiative launched in 2013 by the AHRMM Board of Directors, which includes Nexera President Christopher O’Connor, to advance the role of supply chain in the new value-driven healthcare delivery system.
